KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 23 (Bernama) -- World number one Datuk Lee Chong Wei failed to lift the men's singles title at the Denmark Open Championship in Odense, Denmark Sunday night.
Chong Wei was defeated in the final by Chinese shuttler Chen Long in the hour-long battle with the Chinese ace winning 21-15, 21-18.
The third seed advanced to the final after taming Japanese shuttler Sho Sasaki 21-16, 21-7 in the semifinals yesterday.
